Data Integration Seminar: Advanced Topics in Data Integration SoSe2025

In this seminar, students read most recent research papers from the area of data integration. The students have the opportunity to learn about most recent trends and challenges in the field. Further they will get deep knowledge about a particular problem/solution pair. The students critically discuss the paper with regard to related work and experimental rigorosity within a presentation and a summary report.

Content

  • Basics in reading, presenting, and writing
  • Reading a research paper on data integration
  • Presenting the content critically
  • Participating in seminar sessions.
  • Writing a summary and discussion on the paper

Deliverables

  • Presentation 1, 5 Minutes [20%]
  • Presentation 2, 15 Minutes [40%]
  • Report, Maximally 8 pages [40%]
